Trauma Therapist

Sarah Hammill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in treating survivors of trauma. She runs Haven Trauma Recovery, a group psychotherapy practice in Sacramento, and leads groups in residential treatment settings. Sarah also trains doctors and psychiatrists in the Sutter Health Care system and has guest lectured in the Psychology Department at U.C. Davis.

Sarah received her master’s degree from U.C. Berkeley and has completed a post-graduate training program at The Psychotherapy Institute in Berkeley, California. She is certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), has advanced training in Psychodynamic Theory, and has completed training in Somatic Experiencing.
