We understand that the food you will be eating is an extremely important part of the healing process, and therefore we use only the freshest organic ingredients. Our highly skilled chefs can also prepare delicious vegetarian, vegan, diabetic friendly and gluten-free options upon request. All the meals are plated restaurant style, and there is almost no limitation to what you can have for dinner, and our chefs will work with you in choosing healthy food options during your stay.

Relapse Prevention Experts
At New Dawn, our education groups are based on the nationally recognized and clinically proven Living in Balance (LIB) program. This holistic approach to relapse prevention has a primary focus on helping clients learn how to make informed decisions in everyday life in order to regain balance and prevent the chance of relapse from ever happening. The LIB program teaches participants how to:
- Identify situations that trigger cravings.
- Understand the chain of events, including “Small decisions,” that lead from trigger to drug use.
- Learn how to disrupt the chain at an early point.
- Cope with triggers by using thought-stopping, visualization, and relaxation techniques.
- Develop immediate healthy alternatives to drug use.
- Develop a long-term plan for full lasting recovery.
LIB is so effective because it teaches clients how to become their own relapse prevention coaches. Clients will receive training on coping skills and stress reduction strategies, as well as guidance about alternative paths to enrichment and other options for achieving life experiences that are both healthy and rewarding.

Our residents may participate in some or all of these experiential groups as often as they want, and there are never any added charges for these services.

How Can I Pay for Treatment?
Many alcohol and drug rehab centers will advertise that “insurance is accepted”, but if you look at the fine print on their website, they will usually disclose that YOU are responsible for billing your insurance company.
