Understanding Opioid Use Disorder
Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) is a chronic brain disease marked by intense cravings, tolerance (needing more to feel the same effect), withdrawal symptoms, and continued use despite adverse consequences. Left untreated, OUD may lead to serious health risks such as overdose, infectious diseases, and deteriorating mental and emotional well-being.
Opioids impact brain chemistry in ways that make complete abstinence extraordinarily challenging. Effective treatment relies not just on abstinence, but on safe medically assisted detoxification, psychotherapy to address triggers, and long‑term support systems to prevent relapse.
At New Dawn, we attack opioid addiction from all angles—medical, psychological, and social—to give you the greatest chance at sustainable recovery.
What We Offer
Treatment Programs at Our Opioid Rehab Center
The first stage of recovery often involves medical detox—a process that allows your body to rid itself of opioids under the close observation of licensed medical staff. At New Dawn, we monitor vital signs and manage symptoms like jitters, nausea, anxiety, and insomnia, helping you stay safe and stabilized.
Following detox, some clients thrive in a residential setting where they receive round‑the‑clock care in a supportive, drug-free space. At New Dawn’s residential centers, you’ll find:
- Private or semi-private accommodations
- Daily group therapy sessions led by credentialed clinicians
- Individual counseling tailored to your goals and history
- Holistic therapies such as yoga, meditation, art therapy, and nutrition classes
Our PHP gives clients the intensity of daily programming—therapy, medical oversight, and group sessions—while returning home each evening. It’s ideal for those needing structure without residential housing.
IOP offers a lighter schedule—usually 3–5 evenings per week—making it suitable for individuals returning to work, school, or family life. Sessions include therapy, MAT check-ins, and peer support groups.
Post-rehab success relies on stable support. New Dawn’s outpatient services facilitate ongoing medication management, therapy sessions, and group meetings on a weekly basis to help clients stay focused and supported.
Leaving treatment doesn’t mean leaving care behind. Every client works closely with our aftercare specialists to create a customized roadmap that includes:
- Continued MAT with dosing guidance
- Therapy follow-up appointments
- Peer group check-ins
- Connection to sober-living or local support systems
Clients learn to identify personal relapse warning signs, apply coping strategies, and engage supportive figures. Our emphasis on prevention keeps relapse from becoming a relapse cycle.

Recovery is Possible
How We Help
Family and Community Support
Family Therapy
Opioid addiction affects loved ones too. Family therapy sessions at New Dawn help repair fractured relationships, educate about the recovery process, and equip loved ones with communication and boundary-setting tools.
Peer Support & Alumni Network
Recovery is a community effort. We host regularly scheduled alumni events, peer mentorship programs, and 12-Step/SMART Recovery meetings to foster long-term engagement and accountability.
Community Referrals
Life after rehab is a journey. We connect clients with sober living homes, vocational training, educational opportunities, and community-based resources to support personal and professional growth.
Trauma-Informed, Whole-Person Care
Holistic Wellness
Our program embraces more than therapy and medication. We incorporate alternative therapies such as mindfulness meditation, acupuncture, art/music expression, nutrition education, and gentle physical activities like yoga or nature walks—all designed to heal the mind and body together.
Addressing Root Causes
Trauma often lies at the heart of opioid use. Our licensed clinicians specialize in trauma-informed care to explore emotional pain, heal wounded self-worth, and help individuals establish healthier patterns.
Building Life Skills
We also promote essential life skills—financial literacy, coping mechanisms, relapse prevention planning, job readiness, and healthy relationship building—to empower clients toward independence and fulfillment.

FAQs
How Can I Pay for Treatment?
Many alcohol and drug rehab centers will advertise that “insurance is accepted”, but if you look at the fine print on their website, they will usually disclose that YOU are responsible for billing your insurance company. This means that they are actually NOT a preferred provider with your health plan, and that you will have to pay the FULL cost of treatment at admission. That is a big risk to take with tens of thousands of dollars, and a heavy burden to carry while in early recovery.
At New Dawn, there is no fine print when we say that insurance is accepted. We will verify your benefits for you, and tell you during the pre-admission process exactly what your out-of-pocket expenses will be. We will never charge you more than your copay or deductible for covered services, and we are experts at getting as much treatment authorized as your insurance will allow. Billing your insurance is also something we do on your behalf, so that you can focus on what matters most – your recovery.
Many insurance plans cover up to 100% of our costs. Call us for a confidential insurance verification, and get started on your road to recovery today.
We have a number of affordable treatment options available that are designed to make recovery accessible without causing financial strain. In fact, we have a Treatment Pricing Guarantee that promises to match the cost of any comparable treatment center. We also offer special discounts to Veterans, First Responders, former Union workers and their family members, as well as to our Alumni.
Additionally, If you are interested in financing your out-of-pocket expenses, we have partnered with My Treatment Lender to help you access funds for treatment. They offer flexible financing options, low monthly payments and competitive interest rates for part or all of your drug and alcohol treatment costs. Call us today, we can help you get the life back that you deserve.
If you do not have insurance or prefer to pay cash out of pocket, please reach out for a confidential call to discuss treatment options as well as cost.
